A green initiative by White Print and Trilogy
Dear Mumbai, The city that never sleeps, where dreams come true, where the toughest survive. No other place in the world better understands how difficult it is to grow.
Mumbai, can you remember where we all come from? Your roots? Let’s wake up, play our role, be the defenders and nurturers that we have been and can be again.
Help make a difference. Take this sapling, this living, complicated, busy little being as eager to grow, make relationships and experience life as us. Trilogy and White Print will be sharing these little saplings, full of hope and love on the 19th and 20th of October. Join us and help us spread these saplings across the city.
While we cannot bring back all the lost ecosystems, we can begin with a small step. One sapling at a time!
Seeds of Change is a green initiative jointly presented by White Print and us.
Here is how you can help!
We have arranged for saplings of neem, papaya, drumstick, kadipatta (curry leaves). There is a small note attached about the care of the sapling.
There are three ways we could use your help!
1) Come by and pick up a sapling and take care of it!
2) Come by and pick up a bunch of saplings and be a pick up point (anywhere in Mumbai)
3) Come by and pick up a bunch of saplings and distribute them to individuals or places like schools, institutions, gardens, housing societies that would care for them
There are two pickup points in the city, so far,
a residence in Vile Parle, between 10 am to 7 pm (we will share details with you once you confirm you will be coming by)
Trilogy, library and bookshop, in Bandra west, from 10 am to 2 pm, on Saturday, from 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday. (address and map will be shared once you confirm)
Please call/message us to let us know that you will be dropping by, so we can coordinate with you! Please block the number of saplings that you need, so we have enough at hand.
Please take pictures and share your stories with our city, we never know what inspires fellow citizens to take action.
Please use the hashtag #seedsofchange
