Palestine is a place of immense natural diversity and an ancient, unique history stretching back an astounding 11,000 years. The Palestinians are a warm and welcoming people (with great love for India) with rich culture, living under exceptionally challenging circumstances because of the brutally enforced Israeli military occupation.
We will look at various facets of life in Palestine through photographs and personal experiences. These comprise dance, art and education as much as segregation, house demolitions and tear gas that are everyday realities in Palestinian lives.
Chirag Dhara is a theoretical physicist and climate scientist. He is keenly interested in the Palestinian situation, and visited the occupied West Bank in Palestine for three months in early 2018.
